What is Gasoline?

  • Prior to the invention of internal-combustion engines in the mid 1800's, gasoline was sold in small bottles as a treatment against lice and their eggs. Petrol was actually a patented name back then. This approach to treating of lice is no longer in much use, because of the inherent fire hazard and the risk of dermatitis In the United States, gasoline was also sold as a cleaning fluid to remove grease stains from fabrics. Before dedicated service stations appeared across the landscape, early motorists would purchase gasoline in cans to fill their tanks. The name gasoline is indicative of word-engineering technique which was popular at the time and issued in other petroleum products from that time period, most well known is petroleum jelly a highly purified heavy distillate, which was labeled Vaseline. The trademark Gasoline, however, was never registered, and thus became generic. Gasoline had other uses in cooking and for powring lights, and is still available in a very pure form, this is referred to as camping fuel or white gas, for use in lanterns and portable stoves. The word "gasolene" was first coined 1871. Theabbreviated form "gas" was first noted to be in use in American English in 1905. Gasoline was originally referred to any liquid used as the fuel source for a gasoline-powered engine, rather than diesel fuel or fossil fuel; therefore methanol racing fuel would have been classed as a type of gasoline. OK, so now that we have more awareness of the historical background of the word "gasoline", how do we go about replacing it with something that gets better mileage in your automobile's engine and less toxic to the environment? For those who are unfamiliar, WATER4GAS is offering information for a fee which people can use at home to put together a small device which instills hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car or truck runs on. The process makes bite sized particles out of the ones that the system burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size the engine is able to use much more of it. With WATER4GAS you can minimumly expect to lower your gasoline consumption by 12%. But many are getting thirty to fifty percent improvement or significantly more. Those goblets "musta" been pretty "blankin'" huge in some engines before. But with WATER4GAS they are made consumable so you can lower your gasoline consumption. It also helps make emissions significantly cleaner. This information has been purchased by over NINE THOUSAND car owners already and happy members number about 99%! So that's a start!
