What is the most important thing to do, who are the most important persons and when is the most important time to do? There are The Three Questions Russian author Leo Tolstoy first published in 1885 in a short story, 123 years back.

These are three questions people do not understand the correct answer. Someone says the most important person is an Executive Director of an organization, a King, a President, a Prime Minister, an Army Chief, a Father, a Mother, a Son, and a Daughter and so on.

When we get sick, a doctor is an important person for us. When our shoe breaks, a cobbler is an important person. We need to make a house; a contractor is an important person for us at that time.

It is generally misunderstood that the head of an office is a most important person. A messenger or a cleaner are least important persons. This is misconception. Everybody has equal value and importance. Everyone is human being with specific importance. A head of an office will not open an office for everyone. A head of an office will not provide drinking water to the staff. However a head of an office has different role to play. It is also not true that a head of an office is supremacy in an organization. S/he cannot go beyond rules and regulations. If such person started to behave as all in all the person is not head of an organization rather a dictator.

In one line the most important person for us is the person who is with us at a particular moment. The most important person is whoever you are with. That is the only person who can help at the very moment when help is needed. A president, or a king or an executive director or anybody cannot do anything because they are not near to the person who needed help immediately.

Another question is when the most important time is. According to Leo Tolstoy, the most important time is now, right now. This is very correct. Past is already past we cannot do anything thing for the past time. Future is uncertain, who knows what will happen in future? The present time is in our hand, we can do anything at present. But anything does not mean that we kill someone. It does not mean one misuse authority. One has to work within and given authority and responsibility. If someone goes beyond limit god knows what the person has done wrong.

The third point is "what is the most important thing to do by a person". The most important thing to do for a person is to help the person whom you are with. In other words, to help a person who needed help is the best duty of a person. That is the most important thing to do that person good.
