Mega Millions Lottery

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery which has the largest recorded jackpot in history (see below for more information.)

It can be played in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Ohio, Virginia and Washington, for your convenience.

The Mega Millions drawing is done two times per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

• The cost for each Mega Millions ticket is only $1.00.

• There are six numbers that a player must pick for Mega Millions.

• To win the jackpot, a player must have chosen all six numbers correctly.

• The first five numbers may be picked from one through fifty-six.

• The sixth number may be picked from one through fourty-six.

The Mega Millions lottery started on September 6, 1996 with just six participating states. It has since grown to the twelve states listed above. It currently holds the largest record jackpot to date: $390,000,000 - I'll type that a little differently for those of you that can't quite comprehend... three hundred ninety million dollars!
