What is Megaupload premium?
Megaupload Premium accounts are available for a price to registered users of the web site. A Premium account offers high download priority, unlimited downloading with no daily limits, no waiting for files to load before download and the ability to download files as larger as one GB. Megaupload Premium starts at $9.99 for a single month and other plans are available depending on how much you use the site and what you may need downloading-wise. Megaupload Premium offers many more advantages for those hosting files as well, allowing them to upload larger files in a quicker amount of time and hosting them forever as opposed to them being deleted after a set period of time for free users.
How to get a Megaupload premium account
In order to get a Megaupload Premium account, you want to register as a user with the site first. Once that is done, you can purchase a Premium account as you see fit. It may take up to 48 hours for your account to be deemed Premium, but once it is, you will have full access to all features of a paid account. If you pay per month, you will be enrolled in automatic recurring payments until you cancel your Megaupload Premium account. You can also opt to purchase a Lifetime Platinum account which is simply a Premium account that lasts a lifetime. A one time fee covers this type of account upgrade. Depending on how you use Megaupload, a Lifetime Platinum account may be worth the expense. Otherwise, sticking to a yearly, bi-yearly or monthly plan may be more beneficial and cost efficient.
