My iPhone experience
My iPhone experience has grown a lot over the past few months (thank everyone for their feedback). Since I’m writing hub about MobileMe, I wanted to briefly recap and share information about the MobileMe experience with other here. There were numerous instances where individuals had a lot of questions about MobileMe that I and others had been able to help with. By sharing this knowledge, I hope you would be comfortable with what the MobileMe is capable of and come to your own decisions about this product.
Below are some FAQs I have gathered so far (do come back often as I will add more FAQs in future)
How do you plan to get e‐mail on your iPhone?
If it is important for you to keep your email, contacts, and calendar up to date
when you're on the go, I shall recommend Apple's MobileMe service.
Push email alerts you instantly when new messages arrive, and your contacts
and calendar automatically stay in sync with your Mac and PC.
Would you like to be able to keep your contacts and calendars up-to-date without having to dock your iPhone?
MobileMe wirelessly syncs your contacts and calendars across your iPhone, Mac, PC, and the web—no docking required.
What will you do if you misplace or lose your iPhone?
If you ever lose your iPhone, you can use Find My iPhone to help you locate it—even it's locked!
How would you protect your personal data on your iPhone if someone were to steal your iPhone, or if you lost it?
If someone stole your iPhone, or you can't locate it, Remote Wipe will helps to delete all your personal information and files from the iPhone.
How fast is MobileMe really syncing your mail, contacts, and calendar information?
Updates between me.com and iPhone or iPod touch will occur in a matter of seconds; updates between me.com and Macs running Mac OS X Leopard and Windows PCs may take up to 15 minutes when MobileMe is set to sync automatically.Macs running Mac OS X Tiger may experience longer sync times. Click here for more info. Alternatively, users can hit the “Sync” menu option at any time on their Mac/iPhone to trigger sync at any time.
Quick Tips:
Did you know that you can upload your iPhone photos (and video if you have iPhone 3GS) to a personal online gallery with just a few taps?
Did you know that iDisk allows you to share files with a Password protection option?
Did you know that storing files into iDisk is as simple as dragging and dropping, and is exactly the same as putting data onto a pen drive?
Buy/renew from Amazon is less expensive then apple?
Order MobileMe from Amazon is less expensive than if I directly buy/renew on Apple.com. I simply enter the authorization code on MobilMe and my renewal is applied on the correct date.

Is MobileMe Worth the Money?
You probably might hear of series of significant performance
problem when MobileMe 1st launched. Apple is trying hard to remedy
them and take another step in expanding the service’s appeal.
No doubt that these services are
very useful but to be fair to those who would like to subscript
MobileMe.There are many free apps online that can do the same thing as
MobileMe, but if you are looking for an easy and convenient ways to combines
all these online services into 1 package while you on the go. MobileMe would suit you down the ground.
Personally I would recommend MobileMe to anyone who owns a Mac and an iPhone, and actively uses MobileMe services. If you fit that description, MobileMe is an efficient and streamlined service that you will get real value for money from, but having said that, if you don't have an iPhone, an iPod touch, or effectively anything that you use on the go, a lot of these services will simply disappear…
Your new mail is sent to your iPhone over the air. Every message and folder stays the same everywhere you check email.
