In order to disarm all this overcharging for spam that you receive you will need to call your cell phone company and request for premium text messaging to be blocked. They may tell you it cannot be done, but do not take no for an answer, it can be done, you just have to find the right person to do it for you!

With some cell phone carriers you may need to speak with technical support to get this done.

Some cell phone companies may even give you a credit if you were not aware of the terms and conditions of the spamming company. They may give you credit once or twice, but do not look for them to do it each month. They notate your account each time you call in as to why your calling. If they see you are calling in each month they will stop giving you credit and flag your account. it is best just to have the premium text messaging blocked completely!

When you receive a text message from someone you do not know, do not delete it until you have investigated. Deleting it will not stop the spamming company from charging you. Even if you never opened the message and just delete it, they may still charge you!

Lastly pay attention to your phone bill and check for any charges that you are not familiar with and do not be afraid to ask for an explanation of them
