What is Super Mario RPG
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is the only role-playing version of the Super Mario Bros. franchise. It was released in 1996 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and is the last Mario game for the system. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of The Legend of Zelda series, created, produced and helped shape the game play. This was also one of the final games Square produced for Nintendo of America until 2002. Super Mario RPG became a cult classic amongst gamers who thought the quirky world in-game actually suited the role-playing game genre.

How to play Super Mario RPG
There are three ways to play Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars: On the SNES, by emulator with the help of a ROM or via the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console. The latter is the easiest way to get your hands on Super Mario RPG. It became available in the Wii Shop Channel in September 2008 and is one of the most popular downloads to date. Playing Super Mario RPG via emulator is illegal, even if you own a copy of the video game but fans still take the chance to play it this way when no other way is available. If you still own a SNES and were lucky enough to hold onto your copy of Super Mario RPG, you can play as many times as you want right from your video game console.
Where to find Super Mario RPG
Legend of the Seven Suns can be bought two ways: On a site like eBay or the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel. On the Wii Shop Channel, the SNES game costs 800 Wii Points and can be played with the Wii Classic Controller. Once downloaded, you can begin playing at once. If you find a Super Mario RPG cartridge on eBay, at a video game store or elsewhere, you can play it on any working Super Nintendo Entertainment System. However, finding the cartridge within a budget can be hard since the game is rare. You might have the best luck downloading it to your Nintendo Wii.
