What is a Marriage Proposal ?

>

Joining together for the rest of a couples life is what people will do when they are ready to fully and permanently commit. This is something that each person should completely be a part of and ready to take on. Yes, there may be some worries or nervousness, but that's only normal - as everybody who has gone through it has experienced some level of emotion at one point of time or another and this is a big deal, so it's understandable and even expected to have some sort of effect on a person (especially the people getting wed)!

So, what is a marriage proposal ? This is usually a declaration of commitment that one person makes to another to signify the beginning of an engagement, and eventually a wedding later on down the line. A proposal not only shows that a person means business and is serious about settling down with another person that they have strong feelings for, but it also means that they are ready to take everything to a different level and start the a new chapter in their lives that they can begin putting together.

When should I Propose

There is no set time when a person should get down on one knee and take that big step toward marriage, since each situation is unique can will vary from couple to couple. Marriage proposals can be made at almost anytime of the relationship, as long as both people are fully committed and are sure that this is what they want, with this particular person.

Taking time (but at the same time, not too much time), analyzing, and talking about where you two stand and what's best for your relationship, is really important when you are deciding whether marriage would be the right thing to do for the both of you.
