What is a Mom
66A Mom is a very important person to a baby and child. A Mom can't do no wrong in the child's eyes. Being a Mom is a big and responsible roll for an infant, baby, and child. Even as the child grows up, Mom is still very important. A Mom is a doctor, chauffeur, cook, maid, teacher, seamstress, and friend. There is no job in the world that can compare to what a mom does. To bring a child into this world is remarkable and the moment a child is born so is a mother. When a woman becomes a mother, there is no training that can prepare you. On the other hand you don't need training, you need to be loving. Because every child is different there will be different ways of dealing with your child. There are all kinds of mothers. You have the single mom, divorced mom, married mom, widowed mom, teenager mom, working mom, stay at home mom, foster mom, stepmother, and the adopted mom. No matter what kind of mother you are we all have the same responsibility which is to raise our children to be loving, and responsible adults. Once your children are grown and have become loving and responsible, you did your job being a mother. On the other hand there are women that are bad mothers and should never have been a mom. It's the bad mothers that create bad children, most of the time. I know mothers that decide to disconnect themselves from there children once the child turns 18. I think that is wrong. I am 49 and I still need my mother, but on a different level then when I was a child. I need her as a mother and friend. I know mothers that drink and take drugs because there having a hard time dealing with the children. There are mothers that let the child tell them what to do. There are mothers that spend more time going out with friends then staying at home with the kids. There are mothers that abuse and let the boyfriend abuse the kids. There are mothers that just don't care. These mothers need help to become a good parent. It's is hard to raise a good child if you can't be a good mother. We as neighbors, family members need to recognize the mothers that are struggling and try to find them help instead of turning our heads and walking away like as if everything is ok. Children are the future and if our kids become messed up so will there futures become messed up. Being poor does not give you the excuse to not care about your children. I grew up very poor, but because of my mothers love, I never knew it. I didn't know how poor we were until I became an adult and I would talk about my childhood. So, as long as your child feels loved, your being a good mother and love goes a long way.
