It is not lying, manipulating, selfishness, argumentative, inconsiderate, etc. and on. Now why do I say this? Because so many who are just like this have all too often attempted to talk with me and been quite upset when I would not deal with them. More importantly, they truly do not accept that they are not good as a mate for a good person and will admit to these traits but claim to be trying to change. In the case of one person they also acknowledged that they knew that trying was not doing and if they were serious they would do and not try to.

So what am I trying to say? When a person that has clearly done something wrong yet begins to fast talk and steer the conversation in another direction or manipulate you into seeing how what they did was not what it was, is a liar. But they will say it is not and can give a million reasons, attempts at manipulative conversation as to how they can prove it. Talk, talk ,talk, blah, blah, blah, is a good sign of a manipulative or self centered person. Especially when all the basis of their conversations is an attempt at getting you to see things their way.

Then if you do have the patience to help them see the error in their ways they try to then blame it on everyone else. Claiming everyone else does it to them which is why they do it. They also complain that they cannot find anyone that acts any other way. That there are no good people out there to date.

When you try to show them they are going for what they know and are accustom to, they do not like that. But what is worse is if you try to tell them they cannot get a good person because a good person can see they are not good. One that is like them they see clearly what we see and want nothing to do with but get them to acknowledge they are no better, never. You want good you must give good. They are unwilling to do that and claim it is too hard to change that much.  Which is why I say just steer clear of here.
