What is a good way to draw people to your web site without having to pay for it?
54This is a problem most people face when starting out on the internet with a business. Here are some options to work with:
1st option:
Obtaining the attention of people to your website without having to pay for it is workable if you can catch their attention through free advertising sites.
There are several sites that offer free memberships and advertising on the web. They work relatively well if you can word the advertisement to gain momentum. By this I mean GRAB THEIR INTEREST with properly worded ads. Usually, it only takes a couple of words that are the "meat and potatoes" of the concept.
2nd option:
Join communities like HUB Pages and blog. Blog about interests, blog about ideas, Blog, Blog, Blog.....this helps you become part of the networking industry that will get you noticed and will gain you attention.
3rd option:
Networking with others in the same industry. Find social clubs that have a clientelle of others that do what you are doing.... You will find that if you sell yourself not your product, the issue of what you do will gain interest and people will begin to ask you about your product. That in and of itself gives you the opportunity to sell to a captive audience.
4th option:
Surfing for hits to your website. There are a lot of different sites that allow you to join for free to surf other sites. This gives you a ratio of hits for every site you surf. You can then apply those hits to your offer with the hope someone will click on your page with an interest.
What ever you do remember that in the beginning of this venture you will have to work hard and long to obtain what you are looking for. Ultimately paid advertising and website placement is the way to go because you have a better guarantee that you will indeed get the response you are looking for. BUT....with just starting out that can be a bit ovewhelming.

Absolutely true. hard work (and smart work) is the only way to get ahead. There is no such thing as a "free lunch". good information.

Good information. Yes and so true that as in any business, you "sell" yourself. People like dealing with people they can trust!
I'm a fan!
