So now our leaders in Congress are going to offer us some sort of coop, or are they? Did you know that they did not change a thing in the original bill except the title,co-op. Legislators have not exactly told us how this would work since they have not come up with anything new except the name of coop. If the President and Congress really want to reform health insurance in this country why not tort reform? All indicators say that this one measure would save Americans billions of dollars a year, but its not about saving money it's about spending and protecting their own interests.Why not support a true free market as far as purchasing health insurance and allowing us to buy across state lines. What if you could not buy milk in Wisconsin or Iowa and what would happen to the cost of milk in Illinois? It would go up, plain and simple, so it stands to reason the cost of health insurance would come down. Its a little free market thing called supply and demand.

We should be addressing the core problem in this country which is our health not our health care. people do believe that they can eat and drink whatever they want and that it will not affect their health.What does high fructose corn syrup or mono sodium glutamate(MSG) do to your body? How about focusing on preventive care,eating right, exercise. Well the drug companies don't want to here that and as a matter of fact prescription drugs kill 110,000 Americans per year using the drug "as prescribed". Wow, talk about swine flu, they should call this epidemic prescription flu.When was the last time you seen a drug company advertise preventive measures to make you healthy? Of course not, how would they make money if you were healthy? All I am saying is lets look at the real problem, preventive health care is almost non existent. We can all do something about our own health without some multi trillion dollar government run health system. Remember there is no magic pill.
