Here's something that you should consider before investing in a network marketing business...

Conversion ratio

Now, this is basically a comparison of buyers to visitors. I'm sure you already know that, but this is crucial, since you'll be spending a lot of your time trying to convert people into customers.

The question is...how much work are you going to have to put in to get them to convert?

Also, when considering a network marketing venture, make sure that they have promotional materials, and that you have the total and utmost support from the administrators and your upline (your sponsors).

Find out other people who were referred by a specific sponsor, and see what they say about a program. Also, Google the name of the product and 'scam'.

Any bad PR for the program will definitely show up for it...and you'll be able to gauge your decision from the feedback you receive.

Also check out whether there's more emphasis being put on the opportunity or the product itself. If more focus is being put on the opp. than the product, then the product sucks, and it'll be hard to convert.

Usually in this situation, it's harder to get people to convert into people for for you downline, because you have to spend more time trying to sell someone on a 'dream' instead of a decent product.
