Quite often I get asked things like “What is the best SEO software for SEO positioning?” or “What resource do you recommend for economical search engine optimization?”

Unfortunately (or fortunately for you, as you are reading this article), the only reasonable answer has to be of course:

It all depends what you want to achieve!

See, quite a few of my coaching clients come to me with something like

“I am interested in learning seo and internet marketing and am going to choose between these two programs, X or Y. I know very little about the subject. So: what is the best SEO software for me”

See, building a business is not something you learn, it's something you do.

Just to give you an example, I'm member of Stompernet (see link right at the bottom) and the thing that makes the difference there for me is the personal coaching, the daily faculty calls (truly mind-blowing, however they get you moving at a million miles an hour, so be prepared for that).

Now with the their latest update, if you want a shopping cart, a complete link-building tool (social media, articles, etc), i.e. lots of tools and automation, then Stompernet really is a no-brainer. So purely from a tools-perspective, I really think they now have the best seo software when it comes to automating all those tedious, repetitive tasks.

So they have both the tools and the framework to get you to use the tools, in other words, they almost 'force' you to do whatever it is you are doing.

The key here is: they're all about DOING stuff. Yes, you can of course 'learn' seo and internet marketing, but with Stompernet you're much better off if you actually want to achieve a specific goal.

If you don't know what exactly that goal is, the community will of course help you. But at some point it has to get targeted, just learning for learning's sake isn't getting you anywhere.

So, if you either want to work as an SEO consultant (where you have to demonstrate that you know what you're doing -- preferably through your own site) or simply have an Internet business (physical goods or information), then you're in a good place.

if on the other hand, all you want is to figure out what this whole SEO/internet marketing thing is about, then there are better ways to spend $200/month.
