What is the best natural remedy for asthma
59As with any medical hub before I start let me reiterate again that I am not a doctor, and I recommend anyone research thoroughly prior to doing anything medical be it "Western MD" medicine or alternative sources. That being said, as you can tell from many of my posts I have a severe dislike for "Western" medicine and our country's desire to fix things by addressing the symptoms rather than the actual issue.
My family and friends have had severe asthma for as long as I can remember. My cousin was actually rushed to the hospital a few times because of it. If you are currently on prescribed medications the first recommendation I would make would be to NOT just get rid of these. They are very effective at addressing the acute problems that you have when suffering from an attack. Regardless of my beliefs on how we handle the overall situation of health here in the US, the bottom line is that for emergency medical care (which is what a full blown asthma attack in process is) we are #1 in the world.
Now the flip side of that is that clearly there is some misalignment in your body that is causing this horrible affliction. Many studies have linked this back to the top vertebrae in the spine. Alignment issues here often occur at birth or during our childhood when we are most prone to falls, bumping our heads, etc. I believe strongly that our bodies were designed to work correctly but we have to help them along at some point in order to achieve the best results.
Our chiropractor is also a very good friend (best man in our wedding, godfather to our daughter), we trust him quite a bit and have known him for many years. Prior to being a chiropractor he was actually a pharmacist. He had asthma for as long as we can remember, carried an inhaler, suffered at least one attack per week until the age of 28. At that time he suffered a major back injury that required that he go to a chiropractor for pain.
When he got there during his exam the doctor asked him if he had asthma. He was taken aback and told him yes he actually did have severe asthma. The doctor also asked him if he had suffered a traumatic birth. (He did not know but when he asked his mother she told him that he had in fact suffered a very traumatic birth.) The doctor agreed to treat him with the condition that he allow him to adjust his whole spine and not just the injured part.
Within a month he realized he had not used his inhaler at all. Nor has he needed it since (he is 35 now).
After hearing this I contacted my mother and aunt since my brother and my cousin both had suffered from asthma most of their lives. Both had suffered traumatic births... on the off chance that this may help them they both went to different chiropractors in different cities. Since being under care (3 years) neither has suffered another attack.
While I cannot say that this is 100% of what causes asthma, I can say personally I have seen 3 people receive relief by utilizing this therapy. Cost wise a chiropractor will definitely cost less than the inhalers you will have with medical medicine and if you can prevent one hospital visit then it definitely pays for itself many times over.
One of the things you want to make sure of though if you do choose to try this method is that the doctor takes X-rays prior to ever doing an adjustment. If they don't they are not legit and can cause serious damage, if damage can be causing the problems you want someone good putting things where they belong!
Many offer free exams, and personally we prefer "Principled" Chiropractors. This is a new division of the field and they are true licensed doctors of chiropractic. This means that they have undergraduate, medical school, residency, and internships behind them before they can start a practice.
I wish you the best of luck and hope it all works out for you!

Very interesting, and I believe there is some truth to the statements you give. Need to look into it further. I know by personal experience that chiropractic can correct many long term 'illnesses'. Thanks.
