What is the best way to link hub pages to your web site?
63Everything Is Connected
If you are going to spend time building a website, creating a hub page and all the things you do to create an online presence then there are a few things you will want to consider very carefully.
Always Create Value:
This is the golden rule no matter what you are doing. Create and give wonderful value to the people who are going to look at what you do, buy what you sell, read what you write.
- If you don't create value or you are not willing to create value for your audience, then frankly, don't bother putting in the effort.
Be Efficient:
There is a Permaculture value that recommends that you ensure that each element in your system works hard for you, giving you at least three 'gifts' from it's position. Chickens for example, provide eggs, till the soil and help increase soil fertility.
Make your efforts give you the same kind of yield. If you are going to have a website, then link it with all the other things you do. If you are going to write a HubPage related to your site, then make sure you provide a link.
WARNING: Make it a value laden link, not a gratuitous link. Make it worth your audiences while when they click, ensure they will not be disappointed.
- So I would recommend that if you have a website, include in your categories section or your links page a link to your HubPages profile or even a specific HubPage that will give your reader/visitor another avenue to follow if they are interested.
- If your website will add extra value to your HubPage then of course link to that as well. Remember, if it will not add value don't link.
I like to find another quality Hub or Website to link to if my personal website isn't going to cut the mustard. Just link this Hub, I've got nothing on my website at all, but I do know a great Permaculture site just in case you don't know what that is.

All good suggestions - it's always a great idea to do research before choosing a domain name or even keywords for you site or your pages. Thanks for the suggestions, I'm sure many people will benefit. Cheers Cate
I appreciate the idea of giving value. It's a good karma move too. One of the reasons people get hubs is to get a high pr link back to their own website. If you link back to hub pages, doesn't that create a link-juice leak (so to speak).
Rufus thanks for the comment - you know, my belief is that if you create value for someone then that is enough to be doing. However, if I really create value for someone they may just want to know a little bit more about me and then perhaps they will visit my website or blog to find out some more. Nothing is ever lost (even if you spring a leak) it just goes somewhere else! Cheers Cate

My thought on the matter is to post a link to your hubpage's from your own high traffic website It's a good idea to google your subject matter, before buying your domain name, because your "unique" domain name is the key to the traffic you want to link to your hubpages.
The alternative is to go to other high traffic websites that you can find by googling a subject related to your hubpage's topic, then goto "who is" (or any good website search engine) that can tell you exactly "who" you can contact to see if you can advertise somewhere on their website for a reasonable fee.
