What is the best way to lose weight when you suffer from hunger headaches? (I'm talking diet specifically.)
68I have to take a moment and respond to this due to the specificity of your request. I have been writing a complete series as I do the Lemon Master Cleanse diet which is a "reset" for your body essentially. It detoxifies your body while at the same time resetting our desire for fat, sugar, and our other addictions.
Let me begin by saying that this diet is NOT easy. If you are having headaches it could be from multiple issues not just the hunger. The problem in our society today (and I am just as guilty here!) is that we are not eating "real" food. By this I mean we are accustomed to processed food which if you look at the ingredients we are actually eating less and less "real" food, it is more chemicals that are put together with flavoring.
I started preparing for this diet over a year ago, but if you are looking to really get results quickly, you can start immediately. The cleanse WILL give you headaches for 3-4 days. This is literally the detox period. Literally think of it as though you are coming off drugs which you are.
You have to remember that Sugar, Caffeine, and so many other chemicals that we eat are addictive. That is why Fast food is so good and we keep going back even though we know how bad it is. We are literally addicted to it. When you go on any diet and stop eating this sugar/caffeine/etc of course you will go through withdrawals. Literally!
The Master Cleanse also kills all the parasites in your body as well as cleaning out the lining of your intestines. What this accomplishes is that you will be able to absorb food easier and not feel the need to eat as much. The diet itself will not be the sole way you lose weight (though you obviously will), it is starting your system over to crave "good real" food and smaller quantities!
You can read more about my experience with the Master Cleanse by clicking on this link. I have done a journal of my entire experience. I wish you luck no matter what diet you go with, unfortunately there will be some headaches is the reality but hopefully you can make it through the withdrawl period and be good to go!

I have not heard of this before. I'm going to read through your hubs and get some info on it now. Thanks for responding!
I wish you the best of luck with whatever diet you chose! I come off mine tomorrow I just finished day 11 and am done for a couple of months. I will have to do it twice (I don't have the will power or the body fat to keep going any longer this time :) ) If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to let me know, I tried to be as candid as possible through my entries (which is why I never went back through to edit them, I wanted them as real as possible!) Any time we try to lose weight it is hard and keep me posted on how you do!
