What is thrush?
69What is thrush
Well thrush is possibly one of the most annoying conditions a person can suffer from, it affects women and men contrary to popular opinion, and can strike at any time..
Thrush is a yeast infection by the organism candida albicans, it commonly inhabits the intestines, genitals(vagina and penis), gastro intestinal tract, mouth, scalp, and surface of the entire human body. i have a neat article on what is thrush at my website, check it out
It can infect the entire human organism and has been known to infect:
- the intestines- causing candida yeast overgrowth and leaky gut syndrome
- the skin causing raised red bumps a itchy rash, ususlly in a place where its warm and moist like below the breasts, in a skin fold, buttcrack etc
- vagina
- penis
- mouth and throat
- groin
- anywhere on the skin
- hair and scalp
- ear
- nails
This awful illness is caused by a fungus that feeds on sugars in any form, and it also can grow tendrils through your intestine lining or any flesh(hence the itching and burning)
Thrush symptoms
are a burning itching rash at the site of infection, if its a vaginal yeast infection the burning and itching is severe and there may be white discharge and a bad odour.
I have included some pictures of thrush infections and the thrush organism to help you.
aside from the above common and well known symptoms there are a load of really almost mysterious symptoms attributed to a yeast infection and these are subtle and unexpected, its best if i explain why and how this comes about before simply listing them.
Thrush can invade and infect your intestines and be largely undetected, because the symptoms are so vague, there is no burning or itching just vague issues with life like not being able to concentrate, or focus on tasks, (losing focus easily), anxiety attacks, getting tipsy after one or 2 drinks(when it should take 4) poor memory, impotence in men, and as the illness progresses into leaky gut syndrome you will then experience intense food allergies and reactions to your favourite foods, and chronic fatigue syndrome. as you can see a lot of these can be attributed to age and the illness can easily disguise itself - if you want to see more deatails about thrush symptoms check my website out.
