Free Linux organization is unlikely to change. This is good: Linux works precisely because people are free to choose to participate or not: Free programmers - is happy programmers - is effective programmers. (Prim.red. - Do not forget that freedom is, first and foremost responsibility.)

However, it is free structure can shoot down somebody new user Linux: whom to turn for support, education and training? What suits Linux?

In general, user groups provide answers, which is why they are essential for Linux-motion: because in your town, village or city no "regional representation" corporate Linux. And the group of users assume many of the functions of the regional offices of large transnational corporations.

Linux is unique in that does not hold or encumber the centralized structure and bureaucracy to find resources, user training and support products. These tasks are performed by other means: Internet, consultants, resellers, the companies support, colleges and universities. Moreover, in many places of the globe, increasingly, these groups perform the functions of Linux users.
