I cant exactly say its the only one favourite film.Its one of my favourite ones.The name of the movie is LITTLE MANHATTAN. Its a lovely romantic movie.Its a story of a 11yr old boy who falls in love with a girl calles Rosmarry in Manhattan.The love of Gabe shown is really sweet and funny to watch.In the movie, his parents are about to be divorced. But the story takes twists and turns and ends greatly with his parents again coming together.

This movie sounds so sweet from your description. The cover art reminds me of the movie "My Girl" with MacCulley Culkin. That movie was AWESOME!
