What is your favorite place for a Vacation?

My favorite place to vacation is a campground called Cypress Lake, which is located in the Bruce Peninsula National Park, in Ontario, Canada.
The campsites are large and flat, and surrounded by beautiful mature mixed-deciduous forest.
The facilities are clean and easy to find, and all the staff have been very helpful.
Cypress Lake itself is very shallow and fun to swim in. There is a volleyball net set up in the water so you can play games with your friends. Walking along the edge of the beach, you can find snakes sunning themselves on warm flat rocks.
But the best part about the park is the Grotto. Pack up your beach stuff and hike for 20 minutes on a forested trail, and you come to the most amazing coastline in Canada, the shore of Lake Huron.
The fresh water is clear and cool; sometimes flat as glass, sometimes with waves taller than boats. On a nice day, there is underwater visibility of more than 60 feet.
The limestone cliffs are perfect for jumping off...the water is at least 20 feet deep at all areas, so there is very little risk of hurting yourself.
And there is an underwater cave connected to an above-water cave, where there is usually a line-up in the summer months of tourists climbing down the cliffs to stare into the magnificent blue-green water.
Check out Bruce National Park the next time you're in Ontario. It's worth the drive. (Reservations are necessary for overnight stays, but day passes are available.)
Also nearby is the lovely little town of Tobermory. Here you can catch a ride on a glass-bottom boat to see shipwrecks that are barely 20 feet under the water. In one area, you can actually swim from the shore out to a shipwreck that is so close to the surface that sometimes parts of it stick out of the water.
Tobermory also boasts one of the best candy shops in Canada. Be sure to visit and pick up some homemade fudge!

I've never been there. But I've it was an awesome one. Because my Aunt was moving there for almost 25 years... She married a canadian man.
