To deny the right to marry is just plain wrong!

I am not gay nor do I have any close friends who are; but I believe that to deny the rights to marry for one segment of the population is unconstitutional.

It would be one thing if it were simply a matter of religious document but marriage has far reaching aspects that have to do with such things as taxes and contracts, with job qualifications and with how we are perceived as people.

A "civil contract" will never have the deep meaning of commitment given marriage. It will always get a "wink and a nod" and not be considered as a true commitment.

Denying marriage to two people who want to make that ultimate commitment to each other is just plain wrong!
