To start my piece I would like to quote an Internet buddy of mine Tahoehunter,"I know way too many really beautiful girls who think they don't look good... It hurts... because it's our fault, guys I mean. We make girls feel like they have to be perfect. You know what I mean, flat stomach, big boobs, round booty, long legs, sexy lips, and on top of all that, they have to dress like a whore, and be one as well... nobody can measure up to that... and its not fair... because nobody should have to. Girls prefer being called beautiful instead of hott or sexy. The little imperfections are what make people special. If everyone was perfect the world would be so boring, variety is what makes life interesting. So guys, stop making girls have to live up to your, I'm sorry, our... deluded fantasy visions of perfection. Stop acting like boys and start being men... realize that women don't exist to fulfill our sexual desires. Stop talking to them solely to get with them, be nice to them because you want to be their friend, not because you want to hook up with them. Say nice things about them not to flatter them in hopes that you'll get some, but because its true and you know they like to hear them. In short... we need to grow up and stop acting like freakin' little boys. Not every woman on Tagged is on here to get laid!!! They want a friend, and understanding friend that will respect them."  My friend has received much criticism by men and for his views on how woman should be treatedand I applaud him.  He is a very big muscular man and it would be easy for him to act as many men do yet he is MAN enough not to.

Now I would like to add to that by saying it is not all the fault of men but the media too, which happens to be run mostly by men. Ladies of size, meaning all but the perfect forms, are the majority. Bearing children really takes its toll and raising them too. You are not able to do as say Oprah and pay for the private trainer and chef's to get you in shape and then if you go off course pay to get back on and why should you have to. As my friend so eloquently puts it, "Those imperfections are what make people special."

Do you notice men are accepted in any shape and or form. They can be huge and they are called teddy bears, so cuddly. They can be major stars big, small and all in between. Do commercials, have the cute sexy girl and there is no problem. Let a woman have the least fault and she cannot be an anchor woman, movie star or have the gorgeous guy and if she does there are stares and comments.

Woman stop giving in to this. be proud of the baby stretch mark, or the pot belly or big thighs. These are what make you, you and what make you beautiful if you realize it. Take a non-negative not the media's eye look at yourself and see the beauty you possess and flaunt it and carry your head high like you know your pretty or beautiful or sexy. Do not act it but project it.
