YOUR PRESS RELEASE AND HOW TO OPTIMIZE IT
WHAT MAKES A PRESS RELEASE THAT PEOPLE WILL READ?
When thinking about making a press release think about what would capture your attention. What are you interested in and does it directly reflect your passion for what you do?
You are your own worst enemy if you don't capitalize on you and your desires. I have read a lot of press releases and, after having been in the newspaper business, can tell when something is fake or over thought. NEVER EVER try to outthink what it is you want your viewers to know. ALWAYS AND FOREVER use what you know best for you. Chances are that you are not the only one with the same passion and interests.
A press release is somewhat similar to a blog when it comes down to it. Always include the "WHAT", "WHERE", "HOW" AND "WHY" of it all.
WHAT is the article about: this is the utmost popular subject. Keep it simple and catch the attention of readers.
WHERE did the article originate from. To attract readers from all over remember to tell them where you are.
HOW did you decide that the article was relevant to the needs of those with your interests and passions.
WHY would they be interested in your press release and the benefits they can derive from what they read
Simple rules of optimization will take your press release and give you a return on your investment of time to create the article.
