This is a real and true experience of a patient who has undergone treatment of several doctors for different ailments. Doctors claiming to have vast experience in the medical sciences, broad exposure and specialization in particular branches failed to provide relief to patient.

It was a case of gall bladder stone. The patient had sudden problem of flatulence after taking rich spicy dinner. He felt irritation. It resembled the gall stone symptom. Gallbladder attacks often occur after eating a fat rich meal.

Consultation was made with a physician. He simply had doubts of gas problem and gave few medicines. Medicines failed to provide relief. Patient revisited the doctor after repeated attacks of abdominal pain. The symptoms included:

• steady pain in the right upper abdomen
• pain in the back between the shoulder blades
• pain under the right shoulder

Physician on request suggested ultra-sound test which revealed presence of a single gall stone measuring 1.2 cm. Thickness of gall bladder was bit more than normal wall thickness.

However, none of the medicine could provide relief to patient. Whatever temporary relief was provided it was from strong pain killers. Patient suffered due to the problem for two months continuously and mostly problem recurred in the night after meals. After two month's suffering, he thought of taking "Conium 30" based on the backache symptom.  Surprise of surprises, he could not have a sound sleep for last two months. First time he had sound sleep in the night otherwise he couldn't sleep for several nights before it due to severe abdominal and back pain. From that day onward, he took regularly same medicine three times a day and six months have passed till then and problem has not recurred since then with the God's grace.
