What to do if you see your blogs and hubs are being copied?
This is a very common question by most blog owners and authors. Some authors move to many sort of complains that sometimes they wanted the whole website to be closed.  That is a very desperate and I would say stupid move.  First thing that we writers should consider that Internet is FREE and Information from the Web is totally and must be free.  Many writers have not think of that, they thought of writing a blog is like writing a book that nobody and no one has the right to duplicate it.  Once you place information on the Web it is just like placing your Ferrari on the sidewalk with its keys on it.

What  I am trying to share to everyone that we should not be too hostile and started to panic when our documents are being copied or plagiarized.  If you are a kind of writer who is afraid of experiencing that then get off from blogging, because internet is not doing police work to protect your writings.  There are many blogging sites that promises protection, but then they could not stop everyone to do copy and pasting your articles.  What should we writers do then? What are other important things that we should know why there are people copying articles?

Blogger plagiarize because :
1.  They need articles to add content to their websites.
2.  They have school projects that require them to have supporting articles
3.  They thought your article is informative and worth to be added on their web site.
4.  They have the same ideas as yours.
5.  They wanted to advertise your article because of its useful information.
6.  They believe that Information on the WEB is FREE.
7.  They believe that the have the rights share it to everyone.

How to know that your Content is being plagiarized?

The simplest thing you do is copy the title of your article and google it, when you see websites that has your article then your blog is copied.

So what are you going to do?

Email the Google, Yahoo or the whole Internet community? Hahahaha!
Our articles and blogs are not the same as stolen gold or diamonds that we must start to get wild.
Relax, lets solve the problem one step at a time.

Many Authors does a stupid thing of contacting google to remove the Adsense of the one who owns the website where the content is placed.
That is a very stupid strategy, which  will not stop the perpetrator from doing it again. How sure are you that the suspect is copying for the purpose of adsense? If you see adsense on the stolen articles, it is not a proof that the one copying it has an adsense account? He could be only pasting articles on a website owned by somebody else. And one thing, Google has no authority of removing Adsense of someone who is not violating the Terms and Condition of Adsense.

So stop the idea of using Adsense for your complains, it will not solve anything.
And if you succeed the perpetrator might be doing more against you.  He might be using the same tactic to remove you from adsense too, telling google that your articles are stolen too.

Steps Best that you should do:

So my advice if you see copied content you email the site owner or leave a message on the site forum or leave a message on the shoutbox.  By the way some content copied on the site are not done by the site owners but by some members. So dont be harsh on complaining, let the site owners know your concerns and they will remove it for sure.

Lets be gentle, remember no one owns the Net.

PS:  If someone will copy my articles....go ahead copy it! I am proud to share to everyone whats on my mind!

You have copyright in your writing.

If you are a professional writer, you want to make sure you get money for your writing. Music companies can and do prosecute sites for using music without permission. You can do the same if it is worth it.

If you are writing for fun, or part of your job is to publish your work then you need to b sure that you get the credit. if someone copies your research paper and publishes it under their own name it could damage your carer and lead to you being charged with plagiarism.
