First Asense requirement

In yesterday's post, we talked about what Adsense is and how it works. Today, we are going to talk about what you need in order to be able to profit from this wonderful FREE money making world class network.

We hope you never delayed in signing up for your FREE Adsense account with Google if you already have a blog. If you have not done so yet, you should do so now. A note of caution before hand- the site on which you intend placing Adsense ads must comply with the Adsense Terms and Conditions found here. Google really takes their T & C seriously so be sure to read them carefully to always play by the rules. If you do not yet have a blog or site, then read on to see how you can create one in a matter of minutes.

The very first thing you will need to run Adsense as a publisher is a website or blog. The line that separates a website from a blog just keeps getting blured by the day and thus we are going to use both terms synonymously. There are several ways to get a blog up and running in no time. Some are free while others are not. As a beginner, we are going to stick with the free option. There are several free blog publishing platforms out there including Blogger (the one on which you are reading this very post), Wordpress and Tripod. You can search for more using Google. For the purpose of cohesion, we are going to use Blogger (also owned by Google) as our reference platform.

To use Blogger, you will need to sign up for a free account. This usually takes less than five minutes. After you have successfully signed up, login to Blogger with your newly created account. The interface that you first see after logging in is your dashboard. Here is where you create and organise your blogs. You can create as many blogs as you like either alone or in a group with your friends where you all contribute to create content, it's all up to you. All you will have to do next is to click on the Create blog button at the upper left part of your dashboard. Just follow the remaining directions that come on your screen to choose a name and description for your blog not forgetting to click save when you are done. That's it. You now have your blog and are ready to voice your thoughts, opinions, videos, books and what have you to the entire world and get PAID for doing so.

So now that you have your blog, the next thing is to create your content (content is simply what you want to say to the world through your blog). There is no hard and fast rule as to what your content should be but it should not violate the Blogger T & C. Having great content that can get you a global audience involves a lot of skill which we are going to guide you through right here for FREE so if sign up to our updates and never miss out on an issue.

In our next post, we will take a look at how you can discover what content to put on your blog that will get you a global audience and money. How you can captivate your readers' attention with your content and see them asking for more so stay tuned.
