Ultimately we will never discover the complete makeup of a man nor will man ever fully understand the female species but a man, if prepared, can learn and discover some of the mysterys of a woman's mind,her heart, and her desires.
How to please a woman:
1.Tackling problems:
Women tend to be intuitive global thinkers.They take lots of information from many sources and tend to think of many problems at once.Whereas many times a man will tackle one problem at a time.
2. Emotional:
As you know women are more emotional. Our hormonal makeup is completely different.
'Some times all a woman needs is for a shoulder to cry on while she pours out her heart'.
Often she feels better from simply her man holding her and really listening to her.
'Often if a woman wants advice she will reach out and ask for it'
3. Need to feel number one:
A woman needs to feel number one in her man's eyes. A woman is aware that man by nature has a 'wandering eye', especially when a beautiful woman walks by, therefore it is important for her to know that in your eyes she is the most'beautiful woman of all'.
Sometimes with so many beautiful women in the world, some women become insecure, feeling the need to compete constantly, unsatisfied with her body and shape if it doesnt meet the ideal form. The media constantly throws images of thinness and unrealistic visions at women which we tend to absorb. While a man is not responsible for a woman's esteem a man we love can 'break' our 'build' our esteem even further.
'How Do I Make Her Feel Number One????'
Tell her how beautiful she is clothed and unclothed.
If you have to stare at a gorgeous thing going past while with her, don't make it obvious, be subtle for God's sake. Is that so hard to do.?
Dont call her stupid names "fatty" "porky" if she is carrying a little weight. She may laugh about it, but inwardly it can be crushing her esteem to shreds.
Make her feel loved and appreciated, let her into your heart.
4. Sex:
Women need lots of attention, closeness, touching at times with no sex involved. If you only approach your woman and touch her when you want sex, she will become resentful and sometimes even feel like a prostitute, especially if an arguement has not been resolved.
5.Talking:
We all have heard the expression that men are "headliners", and women are "fine print". Women are said to talk on the average 25,000 words a day, and men 5,000 words. Women were born to express themselves, and with an added emotional makeup, it explains why we talk problems over with friends and family. We have that extra need to discuss the aspects of out life, important issues with others.There is a need at times to get things off our chest seeking other's opinions, offloading our fears and hurts.

How to approach a woman:
1. Walk with her,don't try to rule her.
2. Offer your support, be a haven she can come to when she is in need, without fear of lectures or disinterest on your side.
3. Don't ridicule her behind her back. I never understand men who do this.
4. Listen, listen, when she is hurting. Resist the urge to offer advice unless she asks.
5. Give her compliments, make her feel good about herself, and mean it.
6. Walk with her, not ahead of her.
7. Never take her for granted, don't let familiarity seep in.

This is some very good advice...and true. What I think most guys don't get is that a little kindness goes an awfully long way. And what harm does it do you, to tell her she's beautiful, that you think of her, that you love her, or to surprise her with an unexpected card? These little actions are worth a million bucks.

Excellent Hub with the added treat of great quotes on women. Very heartfelt and written as if from personal experiences especially about the propensity of men to look at beautiful women while in your company. Security in knowing that a man is truly in love with you will hinder some of the sadness if he looks at another woman. If he is truly in love with you, he will surely know that you do not like for him to share his attention and will not even take a glance.
Blonde, it took me a loooong time to learn that one's wife does not want her man's opinion or advice. She only wants him to shutup and listen to whatever she has to say, and pay attention. If a man can do that one thing he will have a successful marriage, or relationship. Luckily I am hard of hearing. LOL

The best advice offered here is to "simply ask". All women (like men) are individuals. I, for example, have many traits usually associated with men. ("not being emotional" and "not wanting/needing any shoulders to cry on"). Also, I don't happen to want to be Number 1 in a guy's eyes. In my case, I always wanted my children to be Number 1 in their father's eyes. I was happy with being Number 2 and expected him to be as well.
What I, as a woman, want is for people to realize that I am individual; and because I am, there's a really good chance any assumptions about me are wrong. :)

I'll save your tips in my personal file and try them randomly one or two at a time. They say, never try and figure out a woman, it will eventually drive you crazy!
So we have to listen, listen and not try and offer advice, huh? I have always been a fixer, those Engineering types you know, we can fix anything which is not completely right, it does not even have to be broken. I have often been told by women that they do not want to counsel with me, as I always try and fix things or give advice. Now, I understand, I guess, kind of understand. So, what do I do? Say, "Ya, no, uuhm, yes, cool, mmm." Then give her a hug? You have to help me out here, because I am just so different, when it comes to that. What does she expect me to do with the information?

"Dear Abby, I really don't know what to do, can you help? My girlfriend has been acting strange lately, she gets calls and will not answer them when I am close. She also comes home from work in the early ours of the morning, saying she has deadlines to meet. So, yesterday at 2:00 AM in the morning I was hiding in the garage behind my motorcycle, as she drove into the garage. She opened the car door, opened her handbag took out her bra, put it back on, took out her underwear, slipped that back on and then proceeded to sneak back into the house.
While all this was happening, me hiding behind my motorcycle, I noticed a hairline crack in the frame. What do I do now, replace the frame, or do you think the crack can be welded as a safe repair???

Oh Jellyrug, you are a extroidinary male.Well I can only suggest that when you feel the words rising in your throat while she is crying on your shoulder,either reach a little further to grab your coke on the coffee table.Gurgle for a few minutes,or even better insert an appetising snack,into the cavaties of thy mouth and chew.With all this yummy flavoursome food in your mouth, it benefits here in two ways.
Firstly we all know it is hard to talk with something in your mouth,therefore of real benefit here.
Secondly if you pick something so mighty flavoursome you are indeed happy to remain silent,resulting in two parties totally getting what they need.T-bone steaks tend to come in the most useful if there is one handy, especially if one does not have a great deal of teeth,as it does take some time chomping to get to the bone inside hahah.
What advice has Abbey given you on the other ummm matter involving the crack haha that is a classic.Seriously you sound like a really fun light hearted guy,and for you to express yourself in such a remarkable fashion,I think you already possess many of the qualities of 'what a woman wants'. Please let me know how my advice goes on the above.
One last note try not to eat food items with seeds,it is pretty hard to spit them out while holding your lady,mainly olives and stone fruit.

Well, let me think here for a little, I have scanned through the expert advice again and don't see too much about kissing?
See, I am a good kisser, and the steaks and food items may just spoil a good chance to get a kiss in.
So, how about this?
When a woman talks and she just wants me to listen, she does not ask advice, can I nod my head, touch her now and then and count the words? Then how many words do I have to wait for, before I can start kissing. Surely not the 25,000 you mentioned? Engineers are good with math, so no need for a whole number, if it's a decimal, I can work with that too. I can figure out how many letters will be in the word and start the kiss somewhere inside the word.
For example, when she says: "....... and when she walks through the office with her blonde curls and the mini skirt, even the boss looks up from his desk. I hate her, absolutely hate her, she is a sl" KISS KISS KISS.
That calculates to exactly 32,5 words and then three kisses.
You think perhaps I am making this too complicated and there is no magic number? After all, women are the most complicated beings around.

I should have added a definition of 'DizzyBlonde' in my blonde story, as that is the best way to describe myself at the moment. My head is whirling in circles,haha. My advice here without having to add up or subtract here, is when the talking seems to subside, count one,two three, then dive in for the kiss, assuming you have finished eating, from the previous tip I last gave you. Why would a woman want to be number one? Men by nature are warriors and hunter/gatherers...too much on our minds to have a woman take that number one spot. Women are usually down around 2nd or 4th spot! Being number one does not feel appropriate; that sort of neediness is usually why women end up second or even fifth on a mans' list of priorities. In my opinion, it is entirely unreasonable to put a woman as a man's number one priority. How can a man take care of a woman's emotional needs and desires for security when the bills aren't paid, or there is no employment or has the grass been cut; or the car taken for maintenance; then with all of that what about our needs as men?
Women are too complicated. None the less, I found this Hub on womens' needs informative.

Hi daniel, LMAO you have some great points there. I didn't mean for her to be in the number one spot between the man and herself, but to feel in her man's eyes she is number one over any other competition. Thanks for asking BP....really!! I'd like a nice steak, medium rare...seared on the outside....a caesar salad and a baked potato with real butter and sour cream. Then I'd like to sit and watch the sunset with my rum in hand and listen to some good tunes as I sing along. Then an hour or two with my favorite hubchicks in the jaccuzi followed by 6 or 7 hours of playful sex with the whole lot of you. An Hour or two of sleep and then we'll start all over again......wheeeeeeeee!!!!!

This is exactly what i want. No man I have ever met is capable of this though. It is like when you start telling the things you feel or need emotionally, they shut down. Just improved the formatting PB, it's heaps better.
You can improve the formatting by the use of proper paragraph, indentation, bullets etc in the text capsule. Make sure the space between two para is just one line gap. And if you know HTML then you can make your capsule look a bit more better.
I wish I knew how to use those buttons PB, will have to keep practising I guess thanks for your help.

Thanks so much Jodi I agree 100%, men always say women are hard to figure out, but we are very easily read, if they are aware of our composition. We are like amplified extensions of our men, if they put in disinterest and slackness, they get a real slack woman, yet if they put in some understanding, extra loving and care, they get a very happy woman who makes their life so much easier lol.
Well if the men dont start treating us better after those words so nicely delivered, we have no hope......

I think what I ment was that wome catagorize things in to good or bad They want they do not want and they move towards hat they want no matter what in the end. Come to find out it was me. From that day to this I have striven to be more of the man my woman wants me to be, yet at the same time still being me. Great tips for every man to listen to.

well, as I am in Iraq there is not much I can do. I hold on to the belief that it can be saved though. In my opinion I am going to give it everything I have because if I didn't what kinda guy would I be? Besides my wife is a wonderful person who deserves only the very best from me.

Believe it or not, I do do a lot of these things. But see, my problem is - I currently don't have a woman. It's probably a confidence thing like you've mentioned. (And I'm ok with that for now cause I don't have a lot of time - it's all being spent here and writing limericks! lol)

Quite Interesting not to omit informative.
Single due to tragedy, it was a great loss. We "got" one another, probably an irreplaceable loss.
She was wise enough to speak to me in simple terms and tell me what she wanted or needed at the moment what it was arose.
I think women should simplify the process because men are not very good at guessing or reading between the lines. That would be true for me at any rate.
