Obama Promised Change
I have started a quest to figure out what is going on in Washington. There many things going on that the American public is not accustomed to seeing. President Obama has promised change and is going full steam ahead to create the change.
Within the change, he has appointed many Czars, and other significant changes beyond that ever seen in the presidency before. To start it out we can start looking at the change and the people behind the change.
As a conservative I want to know the truth. I have been watching, reading and listening everything from Rush, Beck, CNN, and searching the internet. I have even asked liberals and fellow hubber for help, with not much avail. So I am out to find the truth myself, and try to keep an open and honest mind in doing this.
We will start looking at Mr. Van Jones, the new Green Jobs Czar. I have actually found a lot of the answers looking at this individual, and as you may see, he might actually may hold the key to a lot of what is going on.

His Story
Mr. Van Horn started appearing in the headlines in 1992 where he was arrested during the Rodney King demonstrations. In prison he became acquainted to with several groups of radicals that he felt held the same values and positions. With this become active in several radical reform movements and even claimed himself to be a communist (from East Bay Express)
He soon joined STORM which included revolutionary nationalist, communist and anarchists members who promoted Marxist politics.
in 1995 he founded The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. The Center is a non-profit organization to work with the inner cities. It promotes promotes the racial politic, over over-incarceration of the communities of color and urban poor in order to promote better schools, more opportunities for the working and youth, and promotes the environment. The Bay Area Police Watch is product of this center, which watches for abuses by police, and over incarceration.
Color of Change was co-founded in 2005 by James Rucker and Mr. Van Jones. Its purpose is to unite and create a political voice where for Black Americans.
Van Jones started up "Green For All" in September of 2007 after attending The Clinton Global Initiative , in hopes that "green" jobs could be used to promote and help this urban poor and communities of color area to be able to improve their lives and provide better paying jobs.
On October 7, 2008, Van Jones released his book The Green Collar Economy. The book suggests how the so called "environmental problem" and poor economic conditions can be fixed together by giving "green jobs" to the poor and underprivileged. The result would be the underprivileged would be able to bring themselves out of their poverty.
On March 10, 2009, he was appointed at the Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation for the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
So What Does This All Mean
"Green jobs" are high on the agenda. The money that Obama wants for green jobs is to be focused not only on green jobs but to the "poor" and "underprivileged." Is this part of his share the wealth program? This has been layed out quite coherently by Mr. Van Jones.
I have read a hub by a fellow hubber, Harvey Stelman about his his friend who was applied for stimulus money to start a "green" business. Reading this reinforces all what I am presenting on this hub.
Where does the "green jobs" fit in with the environment. There could be some that could question the environmental movement to be less about the environment and more about the "green jobs." Which is it? Add this to the fact that Al Core is heavily invested in green products, and stand to make millions. Some say follow the money.
So where is all this money going to come from? Could it be by coincident that congress is working on a cap and trade bill to tax emissions? What would this money be used for?
So this pretty much lays out the plan of what is going on in congress, besides the health bill, which don't forget is to used to bring health insurance to the "poor" and "underprivileged." Which by chance could be these same people?

In a roundabout way cap and trade is a tax on utilities by extention the coal industry which sells coal for the production of energy produced by the ubtility companies that produce and sell electricity and any other industry that pollutes the air with carbon emissions.They have to pay to pollute and part of the money is supposed to go for subsidising green technologies. The question is who is benefiting from these subidies besides al gore.It sounds to me like maybe another scam to siphion off more money from the public for private enterprise.If the public is sudsidising it why shouldn't the taxpayers benefit more from it's investment rather than some private corporation.Of course they deserve their fair share of profit,but if they had to go to a private bank for funding,assuming that they would even agree to the funding they would have to pay interest at least and put up collaeral I would think.
No thunder stolen, yeah its about wealth redistribution it always is with socialists. But if Beck is on target and does not get too flamboyant in his presentation he will be effective in getting the truth out. He acts nutty sometimes and I do mean "acts" and thats easy fodder for the left to marginalize!
Goofey or not, Beck is the only one talking about the hidden agenda, and of course great hubbers.
According to Webster, the word discrimination has been around since 1648 and the definition never explicitly implied any particular race.In 1964 the phrase "reverse discrimnation" first appeared in the dictionary, meaning,
" discrimination against whites or males (as in employment or education)". Now why was it necessary to coin that
phrase, since discrimination should have been adequate.
Well turn back the clock to 1962 when JFK proposed affirmative action in order to level the playing field for minorities, opening the door to better jobs and education.
Originally we were told that "affirmative action" was only a temporary remedy. 47 years of that temporary remedy and it is only getting worse. Remember in 1964 the effect was being felt when Whites were being denied, therefore the phrase "reverse discrimination", Maybe it is time to level the playing field and scrap affirmative action! Mr. Van Jones wants it all now.

I would say the cap and trade taxes will go to the "poor" and underprivileged" Obama is talking about. I am starting to thingk Obama is telling the facts straight out and we are not realizing it.

You notice the only defense against Beck is that he is a loon. I have for defense, and libs will not defend, so with a the help of libs suggestion, I am searching for myself, and I just referenced what was right in the open, and I come up with all of this, too. Maybe Beck is not too far off his rocker and is just getting the facts out to us. This research appeared to agree mostly with him.

eovery even if what you say is true,it only confirms my belief that the energy interests in this country don't really want alternative energies as bad as we really need them.I mean more advances in alternative energy,not wind or wave which are useful in certain areas ,but I mean the kind that will get us off coal and oil as fuels. That would help everyone including the poor.

I know what you are saying, however, to my knowledge there just isn't anything. Nuclear? - it has it's drawback. Many of the grown energy resources, i.e. has a negative return of value. I.e it takes more than a gallon equivelant energy to make a gallon of ethanol. This difference is made up of cheaper coal and natural gas energy. Wind is expensive for being free.

Great HUB. Van Jones is a radical communist who was advised to tone down his rhetoric and change his tactics in order to push his communist agenda forward. Once a radical, always a radical. The fact that he is in this administration and has the president's ear is a travesty.

I ask some other on hubpages, actually liberals, if they could explain or defend some of the things Beck said. The libs said to go find it myself, so I went to Wikipedia, and the sights by Van Jones, and got all this information for these places. I did not even have to do a conservative spin on them, just wrote about what I found on their websites. And wow, this is what there is. This appears to be the agenda. No one is denying it. And it appears to be actually saying it is true. Communists, left wing radicals, you name it.
So what are we to think and do? Let's try to send billions and trillions to these people to get them out of their problems. Problem is, this is tried everytime democrats get into office and it never works. It usually makes the problem worse. These people do not learn the lessons of life, and we try to spoon feed them by spending loads of money on them, which is generally a free handout to them. And this is why it doesn't work. They have to want to step up and better their lives. Instead we give them money to stay as they are. They will stay living their liberal lives which means they are not responsible for anything. Where as if they would the conservative approach and make them accountable, so they would grwo and learn what it takes, them they would come out of their predictament.

It may actually mean that Americans have more to fear from their own House of Representatives with members such as Edward Markey of Massachusetts in positions of power than, perhaps, we even realized.
