I love the unique pieces designed by the renowned architect and jewelry designer Frank Gehry. Especially when he gets together with Tiffany & Co.

I used to work in the construction industry, so I have an appreciation of architecture. But my love for architect-cum-jewelry-designer Frank Gehry goes much deeper than that. He’s established himself as a stand-out, stand-alone jewelry designer in his work with Tiffany & Co. He insists that jewelry design is a natural extension of his architectural roots.

Frank Gehry has been collaborating with Tiffany & Co. since 2005, and he still hasn’t run out of ideas.

It’s truly amazing how he has created so many fresh, new pieces while staying true to the original essence of the line. Every piece of jewelry in his Fish collection, for example, incorporates the basic Fish shape that Gehry originally designed for Tiffany & Co. in 2005. However, he plays with sizes, colors, and materials to give each piece a distinct, unique feel.

Frank Gehry was the subject of our very first blog here at WooMeOver. But, obviously, that won’t be the last you see of him or his jewelry design here.

Going Strong,

Olivia
