Have you ever asked someone a similar question? Well, I might need a little more information than that but I am pretty good at identifying movies. Lord knows I've seen my share of them and then some.
I am a Movie Geek!
With a library of at least a thousand movies and an incessant urge to perpetually expand my collection to infinite proportions, I am a certified movie geek!
So be my guest, utilize my useless knowledge and ask away. If I do not know the answer off the top of my head I will do my best to find the answer for you (or someone else might beat me to it by answering in the comments section).

IMDb.com!!!!!
There are lots of ways to search on IMDb. You can search by title, actor, plots and keywords. The latter two are the best ways to search if you have that pesky unknown movie in your head. It may take some time and patience but you will find your movie most of the time using these search tools on IMDb.

hey theres this movie i watched a couple of years ago and it had some guy and his daughter died in some plane crash but he thinks she is still alive and i think he is trying to find her. and i remember some scene where there is some kid who can control people with his mind or something and he makes this docter/scientist guy throw himself off a building.

It's a movie where i think it is from the 80's where a tought to be a nerdy guy falls for a pretty girl whose in a abusive relationship with a criminal type character. where in the end the nerdy guy ends up killing her abusive boyfriend and winning her heart.

I am looking for an old movie maybe 30s? A man falls in love and marries a woman, only she wakes up the next day with amnesia and all freaked out. But then at night shes all in love with him again and so on. Not a lot to go on but please help!!!! I saw it on tcm. Cant remember if it was color or not though. Thanks
any idea about that martial arts movie? i really wanna see it again. it might've had jean claude van damne in it. all i can remember is that one of the fighters had a long braided ponytail with an arrowhead/knife in the end of it that he used for a weapon. it was a martial arts tournament movie...and the fighters fought til the death.

Hey man , looking to know a film that came out late 80s early 90s about a whizz kid that went to university. He was very uncool but wasnt long before he became popular because he joined the american football team and he used hes brains to kick the ball over the post's with mathematical formulas. he had an afro but then was cool so he got cornrolls. throughout the movie there was a big bully picking on him but he got hes own back on him in the end.

I watched this movie only once, a long time ago on TV/Cable, but I never wrote the name of it down. I've been trying to find it for years now, and no luck.
My details are vague. All I can remember is it was about a girl who gets on a boat/yacht with 3 guys (I think) and they are somewhere like the carribean (beautiful blue water). At some point, one of them dies and the rest of them try to play if of as an accident. Something about a fire extinguisher (I think) and towards the end the boat blows up and everyone is dead.

hey, i can remember watching this movie when i was little but can't remember what it is, but basically it's set in an underground prison and all the prisoners have explosives in them and if they try to escape past a certain point it detonates, any ideas?
this movie involves a scene where a boy is being asked a bunch of questions in front of people because he is some sort of genius. the scene shows numbers running through his head so that he can get the right answer. it is an older movie.
this movie is a fighting-action movie approximately 10 years old. i don't remember any of the actors, and i haven't seen it since i was a small child. it involved 2 fighters in an inclosed room, while people were around cheering the fight on, and the fighters found til the death. it was a martial arts movie, and i remember there was one guy fighting who had long hair, and used a knife tied on to his ponytail to kill people.

What's that movie where the government is fighting some force and they have tree students working with intelligence? I remember that the only girl out of the three students made a copy of some message they received - a code or something, and brought it to her friend who was a black guy that lived with his mom and played DDR all day. Then the cops came to his house and arrested him after she left with the de-coded message. Any idea?

What's the Asian movie where there's a scene with the royal family sitting around this elborate table? I think the plot is that the father is grooming his younger son to take over from him, because he views the older son as weaker. Then the father kills the older son...or he dies somehow, and the younger son is disgusted.

This movie is probably from the early 80's. It was a thriller. The main character had an addiction to chocolate i think. He woke up, had a cup of hot chocolate and ate some chocolates from a box of chocolates.
There was this strip club with a dancing woman in leather strap-like outfit. After that, I remember someone opening a drawer to reveal a large, possibly cow heart with a tag or letter attached.
The final battle showed the protagonist and a humanoid alien fighting in a sewer. WHAT IS THIS MOVIE?
There is a little girl with her mom and dad. Both parents are druggies- family seems poor. Mom dies of OD. Little girl helps daddy to shoot up. There is a scene in a field where the little girl is playing in an abandoned car and you hear a train go by. The little girl's only friend [or seems like only friend] is a seemingly retarded older man that she calls her boyfriend... VERY VERY WEIRD MOVIE! I cannot think for the life of me what it's called!
This is one of those movies that is filmed through a camcorder thing and we as the viewer are watching the footage of the camcorder. The footage is classified by the FBI or CIA or military as "top secret". It starts of at a party in New York (I think) about a guy going over to Japan on some promotion or something as he works for some firm that makes different flavored slushies or something. Anyway --- all of a sudden there is a loud noise and people are screaming and running on the street and getting eaten by this big monster that has been woken up from the ocean deep. People get bitten by theses little baby monsters and there heads explode.

Rebekah i think you are talking about life-size. its one of my favorites! The little girl brings a doll to life with a spell (the girl is Lindsay Lohan and the doll is Tyra Banks). Her father is falling in love with her and the daughter tells him shes a doll and he doesnt believe her at first. is it that one?
I need some help. I can't remember a lot about this movie, all i can remember is it is about a mannequin that comes to life ( This movie is NOT mannequin or mannequin 2 ) It has something to do with a single father with a young daughter and the daughter knows this mannequin comes to life and tries to tell her father but he does not believe her, eventually in the end I think he does believe her and falls in love with the mannequin. I think its a 90's movie.

That scene you are talking about is weird because it really has absolutely nothing to do with the main storyline, nor does it even propel or assist the main plot. It's like a completely separate little story in this action movie. Vera Farmiga plays the main character's wife.
I need to know the title of two completely different movies i know very little about both movies so i understand it may be tricky. The only thing i remember from one movie is a bad guy that can only be described as a robot spider head thing. I thought it was the Goonies so it must be a movie like that. The other is where, for the last fight (finale) in the movie, the main character shoots his gun in the air and i bit a ceiling falls, hits him on the head and knocks him out. So, i been trying to figure out the name of a movie i saw a few years back. I hardly remember any parts but i know i loved it, lol. It starts out with a Dad and daughter finding a boy around the same age as the girl and they take him in. The boy falls in love with the girl pretty much since he saw her and they grow up but i think she doesnt really feel the same way. I remember this part the most and it's when they're grown up already and he plays his guitar and sings her a song. I think it takes place in an isolated area because i remember a light house and they play there when they're kids. Gosh, i hate that i can't remember much about the movie.
PLEASE HELP! I can see a scene of this movie in perfect detail but I, (nor my friends) can identify it. I also swear that it's a cameo by Vera Farmiga (fairly recent movie) The scene: A woman, who is looking for a kidnapped child, happens upon a couple in their apartment. The woman is in pants suit, and she is trying to get a girl of about 5 to behave and put on a costume. You get the feeling something is wrong because the entire apartment looks like the set of a children's movie. The woman pushes her way the house with a gun. There is a set with a video camera. The bright lighting and cheerful set intensify the creepiness. There are kids costumes in a closet and she pushes them aside. There are rows of DVD's, each wit a (deceased) child's name. She then looks in the adjoining closet and there are industrial bottles of solvent. The woman breaks down and says "OK, we're sick." The husband protests. The woman who enters stares at both of them, calls 911 and says "I've just heard shots from apartment...." then she shoots the couple. WHAT MOVIE IS THIS??

The movie I am looking for was some strange skinamax flick I saw in the 90s.
The plot involved some girl who was invited to complete in some rich old man's sex challenge in France I think. The challenge was to kill him with sex and the winner gets all his money. But she doesn't get to try it right off the bat. She must learn a series of skills with the other girls in the challenge, among them being learning to wear a strange leather bustier with some kind of custom fitting system. Learning a series of poses the she must perform on a rotating platform by name, and finally getting her neithers shaved by soaking them in chlorophyll and have them eaten off by locusts. She does succeed in killing him by using a drugged lipstick that she got earlier, that is supposed to help excitement & pleasure but is too strong for older people.
However one of the other girls knocks her out and takes her place at the bank to get the money only to find the old guy rigged it with a bomb to kill his murderer. Last Laugh.
In the end she goes off with her boyfriend, who blind at this point to find some doctor that might help his eyes.
A very strange plot still very tame.
Any Ideas. The plot seems too complicated to get a hit on imdb or google without hitting too many other films with a simplified search.
Ugh! I've been thinking about this for a while, and I can't figure out what movie it is.
I can remember a guy getting shot out of a cannon and into some building and sometime later he ends up in the home of a queen who is a giant and is able to take off her head. The queen's floating head guides the man and his group to safety while evading her sleeping husband. I'm pretty sure there was some space involved. There's also a pirate ship..and there is also a little girl in a wrecked theater trying to tell this man's unbelievable story. The actor looks like Steve Martin, but it's not.

I can't think of the name of this movie that I'm looking for. It's a movie about a guy that used to be part of the mob and left that life to have a family. The past catches up with him when he's in a diner and a guy comes in starting probs. The guy pulls a gun and the guy that used to be in the mob ends up killing him. He's on the news and the mob sees him (by the way, just thought that the guy's brother was now the leader of this certain part of the mob now). I don't know if that helps. lol PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I remember a movie from the 80's. I believe it was about a guy teen/young 20's who made a deal with the devil or demon to get a girl or become popular? I’m looking for a video i watched when i was 10.it was about a kid in village (most likely viking) who is pressured by his family to be more like a warrior. he befriends another kid brought to the village as a slave. Can anybody tell me what this movie is?
Notable scenes; he is carving something with an old man and is told "thats not what a knife is for"; the slave is sneaking out of the village at dawn and he sounds the alarm, then when the adults are beating him he refuses to and runs; he falls in a river and the slave saves him; and, i think, at the end he throws a sword off a cliff.
