Hello everyone. Lots of good stuff, we're not sure we're to start, but we'll give it a try.

It was windy and rainy out there, but that didn't stop 50+ networkers from coming out for a excellent night of FREE networking. More great networking/ LI Connects

We usually report on networking events, but seldom report on the many networking breakfast/lunch groups that take place. We attend many, enjoy them all, but usually they have a one per industry type setting and we don't like to ruffle any feathers. Today we were invited as a guest to LI Connects. This group is headed by Jan DeRobertis & Laurinda Handlik. Maybe because it was lunch time and not one of those 7AM affairs, maybe it was because my buddy Steve Cochrane was there, we're not sure, all we know is from the moment we walked in there was an electric/positive networking atmosphere in the air. They meet every other Wednesday 12:30PM at the Hauppauge Palace Diner (next meeting 11/12) and are always looking for new members. One week to go. Autism - - FUNdraiserNovember 5, 2008. Space and food graciously donated by Savannah's. Thousands of dollars in raffle prizes donated by Long Island business. We have no overhead, no cost. It's $50 per ticket, all money goes directly to charity. We appreciate the space and food, we appreciate the prizes, but what we appreciate most is people working together.
