What's your favorite kitchen gadget? List the pros and cons and is it affordable?
61I have two favourite kitchen gadgets i cant really choose between them so i will share both!
Kenwood pattisserie
This machine is a couples version of the Kenwood major or Kenwood chef. I love making bread and this machine allowed me to make ciabatta bread a task that I had struggled with for 3 years.. It beats egg whites with no problem and cream is a doddle. It can wipe up a cake mix in seconds and can even make pastry. I love it. They can be expensive but I bought mine in Cambodia for $220 USD. The only issue that I can think of is that they take up quite a bit of room.
Compact multipurpose juicer and mincer
This machine is the queen of multi tasking. It can juice anything from carrots to wheat grass and it is easy to clean. But my favourite function is that it can mince meat and it can stuff sausages. What more could you want from an auger. My fiancee and I received this as an engagement present and it has made many great meals. The only disadvantage again is that it does take up rather a lot of room.

Hi Anna, great info here. I like to make my breads by hand, sans Jado. I'm intrigued with the juicer/mincer though, but your right about the disadvantage, my counter space is too valuable. The Kitchenaid has an attachment that will also do the chore.
The juicer sounds interesting - but I don't think there is room in our kitchen!
I have to admit that both my Kenwood and the compact live in the pantry when not in use so that they dont take up bench space.

Thank you Anna. I will give the multipurpose juicer and mincer a try. I find that mincing meat and stuffing sausages by hand can be quite tedious.
