It was on 1971 at noon at at a court in Santo Domingo in front of the Caribbean Sea. I was having lucnch with my family and my newspaper editor called me with urgency. Hey Hector get your camera and run to the court because Elliot Gould is divorcing Barbra Streissand in a few minutes.

I grabbed my camera with 3 or 4 leftover shots and push the pedal of my old VW to the floor to try to make on time.

Well Elliot Gould the famous American actor married Barbra Streisand on

March 21, 1963.They had a son Jason born on 1966.

When I arrived at the judicial court the divorce hearing was going on.

The actors had several ladies with him besides his attorneys from the

International Law Office Dominicana .

He was very cozy with the young and pretty girl who later I found out was Jennifer Bogart his present sentimental companion . The have two children and she had made him very happy according to some reports.

The divorce process two about 20 minutes..

I was able to get 4 good shots. Elliot even kissed Jennie for my benefit.

I think he was watching me all the time as I was about with my shooting.

There was a silent interactivity between us.
