WHEN MEN ASPIRE

 

When Men set in their heart to aspire…

That’s when Rockets to the Moon start to fire.

That’s when molecules get split to harness power…

It’s Amazing…But…Something happens at that hour.

 

When Men Aspire…God himself…lends a hand.

And Men become all that they can…

Driven by a desire in their heart…setting a goal…making a plan…

That’s when men of honor and substance always rise up in a land.

 

Of Achievements until this time since days of old,

Men have aspired, stood strong, were determined and bold.

Some went down a path on a tale never told…

Some sought wisdom...Some to serve…Some sought gold.

 

But…When Men set in their heart to aspire…

That’s when Rockets to the Moon start to fire.

And that's when a light bulb goes off in their head…

When Men Aspire…You Can Bet…Thunder Happens!

Men with fortitude press on…where a weaker one’s spirit dampens.

Mercury and Gemini Rockets start taking us up into space…

Then…Apollo takes a Lunar Module up to land on Tranquility Base.

 

When the time is right…or the need is dire…

Pay Attention…just sit back…and Watch Men Aspire!

When something is Impossible; When it has to get there Overnight…

Men come up with Solutions…and make things work out alright.

 

Look all around this planet…at where we’re at and where we’ve been…

Think of the great advances that were made…when needed…Time and again!

All the hard work and dedication that men have showed…I really admire…
