I think style is truly relative to personal choice, but there are still fashion trends that we all love and hate. So, how well do you know fashion? Take this quiz to find out whether you are a Fashionista Queen or Fashionably Clueless. Either way, I bet you’ve got style!

Scroll down to find the answers, but don’t cheat!

Can You Name the Year?

#10: Big Shoes
#10: Big Shoes

And, the answers are…

#1: In 1950, these pointy heeled stilettos were all the rage. I think they still are.

#2: These pants were spotted on the Spring 2008 Runways! That’s right, the Hammer pants are back. Are you scared?

#3: This iron-on print was popular in 1978. Isn’t it a cute t-shirt? I would definitely wear it.

#4: Don’t you love this 1960s black mini-dress with chiffon butterfly wings? Match this cute dress up with some of the 1950 stilettos, and you’ve got one stylin’ outfit for a hot summer night.

#5: If you answered that this is a 1920s flapper necklace, you would be right! This vintage necklace made with green pastes and glass beads is currently selling on the internet for $195. I want it, but I don’t have that kind of spare change.

#6: This Christian Dior cocktail dress is from the 1947 “New Look” line. Even if it is silk, satin, and velvet, I would need a few cocktails before I’d wear this one.

#7: These 1985 fashions sure make me happy I was a kid back then. I had no control over the way I was dressed. What’s your excuse? I love the eye makeup and the bangs.

#8: Cristóbal Balenciaga, the Spanish designer, created this beautiful gown in 1954. I love it because its soft lines are so elegant, but the red is so bold and seductive.

#9: These outfits are from Camilla Norrback’s spring/summer 2007 collection. The cool thing about Norrback’s designs is that they are sustainable. She only uses environmentally friendly production materials. It is what she calls ecoluxury.

#10: These 1994 platforms were my mother’s worst nightmare. Not only did bell bottoms make a comeback, but these shoes too? I never owned any super high platforms myself, but I had some little ones.

Tally up your points!

How did you score? Did anything surprise you? I think it is amazing that I would wear a lot of these things….but, some I would never touch even if they were all the fashion. What’s your style?

That was fun--but hard due to old styles resurfacing. I didn't know whether to go with the original date or the "comeback" date :) Some of these styles are best left in the past! Thanks for the fun hub!

Nice Hub! Some of those styles are attractive, some weird. Stilletos are fun if you have balance and like to walk on toothpicks. lol

Came for your profile (creative writing caught my eye) and stayed for the fashion show LOL! My favorite from above - Cristóbal Balenciaga's red dress! Won't it be great to be so elegant. As for stilletto's and platforms I remember those days. Current events? Reebok classics are my style LOL! Thanks I really enjoyed your hub!

My guess in picture #1 was going to be when Michael Jackson made his thriller movie with the zombies in it. Those girls look close to his Zombies. Thanks for the interesting hub and it was a way to stimulate the mind to think.
