When your dogs are driving you crazy!
Your at home, trying to get all your housework done, or you're trying to sit down and relax watching tv and then all of a sudden you see a tornadoe running through the house. You start yelling, and picking up everything they've knocked down, and they just won't seem to calm down. I experience this all too often at my house. I have 4 dogs. A female husky, a female boxer puppy, a female chihuahua and a male rotti/shepard mix. They are great dogs, but when they all get in their playfull mode, be on the lookout. We never really seemed to have this problem until we got our boxer puppy Jasmine. She's very mellow for a boxer, so we thought. She's a good dog, and very smart but when she's not sleeping and not being lazy or eating she's playing. And I mean playing. She gets all the other dogs all rowdy and they just keep running from one end of the house to the next.
You'd think after a few minutes they'd calm down, but they don't. You yell at them to settle down, enough , or stop. They just look at you, and keep on running. Don't get the wrong idea my dogs are good, well trained, and not destructable nor aggressive at all. However they love to play and get rowdy. One of the bedroom doors doesn't latch shut totally, you'll see them running, hit the door and slide right into the room. Go underneath the bed and start playing, god forbid there's socks on the floor because there they will go playing tug of war with each other. It makes me mad, and I get all fustrated because then everything they accidently knock over, or make a mess of I have to clean. Not to mention if I'm trying to do something, or just kick back and watchin tv it gets quiet loud and annoying. I have to say though, it's so funny to watch them all. You have 2 big dogs, a puppy, and a tiny little chihuahua and all you can do is laugh. They can make any borning moment into a fun, ear pulling, tail tugging, barking of a time.
So as I write this, I am right now experiencing all of what I've been saying. I can stop them if I really want to, but they're having fun. So I'm sitting here on the couch watching tv, and have to laugh when these dogs act like wild crazed children running around. I just thought I would write about it. See if anyone else gets to experience this such delightful time of day that's called "doggie play time".

One of my dogs is like that, especially after she eats. I have two small buckets of dog toys in the living room. She knocks both buckets over, searches for a toy to put in her mouth, and proceeds to toss it across the room at high velocity. She has managed to knock down drinks off the coffee table, and hit the monitor on my computer several times. All I can do is laugh when she does this. It's all in the dog's personality and it's super-fun to watch.
Great hub!
