Where does a poet go to find out if he's any good?

Charl Baudelaire is reading poetry to win prizes or Arthur Rimbaud.Imagine Vinci is showing his paintigs to a publisher to know whether it is good or bad, you will get your answer!

Good is a very relative word.If I say Lawrence Ferlinghetti is good or populist form is the best form of poetry, you may or may not agree with me.Even if I say populism is the worst form in poetry, some of you will agree and some will not.

so, what does it mean by good?

Tell me one thing - are you a poet? do you write poetry? If your answer is yes, what for do you write? If you only wish to communicate your views with people, you may have joined a newspaper as a columnist.If you only wish to serve your own language you may have become a teacher of that.Do you want to become a rising star of literature?Well, with all my respect I will earnestly suggest you to go to hell!

Becoming a star means compromising with your publisher,readers and getting hit in the market like a hotdog or a pet dog of some renowned publishing house.
