Cyclist David Shirley, icycleagainstnegligence, is taking a few days off in Portland, Oregon to rest his stressed knees, after putting over 4000 miles on his bicycle. The break gave him an opportunity to load photos from his camera into the site above, and gave me an opportunity to upload a few of them for your viewing pleasure.

There are so many good ones, it is difficult to choose, but these seem to give a sense of the trip from several perspectives. Plus, I recognized the area so I could identify them, lol. Click on the blue text and then on the lower right link, "Photographs" if you would like to see all of them!

These do not depict the entire second leg of his journey, but only Wisconsin to Wyoming. He has yet to upload his Yellowstone, WY to to Vancouver and down to Oregon set.

We will have to have a marathon holiday slide show at Christmas! I agree, views from a bike are unique!

Awesome pics, that bird's eye one got me, especially.

My hat's off to David for travelling this way. What a great thing.
