Where is our Broadband Internet Service Obama? - UPDATED: 13 NOV
59Broadband Internet Service - UPDATED: 13 NOV
The F.C.C. has said that 96% of households has subscribe to or have access to broadband Internet service. This American wonders where the F.C.C is getting its information cause I live a total of 6 mile from down town Whiteville, North Carolina and no one on our road has broadband, the broadband cable stops about two miles from my home and there is another 6 miles pass me that have no cable in front of their homes. The telephone company keeps putting us off every time we call asking WHEN WILL WE GET BROADBAND?
Wasn't that one of Obama's promises, was to assure all Americans broadband service. Oh well I guess its just another failed promise by him! Is anyone else having the same problems in their state?
Update: I got tired of waiting for Obama's promise of broadband and went with www.wildblue.com I have a feeling that waiting for the telephone company to install broadband in our area might take years...they have it within couple miles all around my home and stopped the project for some reason, it sure can't be there not enough people here with computers to hook up. It was my understanding that some of the money for jobs was going to be spent on broadband and I will now have to guess that he gave it to his favorite areas that supported him. Thanks Obama for nothing!
