In 2007, Webkinz was one of the hottest toys on the market. Kids all over the world had a black cat or a penguin Webkinz on their holidiay wish-list. Parents were climbing over each other trying to get a hold of the much loved pets.

Now that the holidays are over, Webkinz are a little easier to come by. If you aren't picky about which animal you'd like to buy, you can find stores which sell a wide variety of Webkinz and Lil Kinz.

New Webkinz can also be found online. Amazon.com offers many different New and used Webkinz through affiliate stores.

Webkinz have been around since April 2005. There are many Webkinz that are always available. But some Webkinz are hard to get.

Reasons Webkinz become rare or hard to find:

• They are only sold seasonally
• They have been discontinued
• They have been retired
• They are in high demand, and get sold quickly
