Instead of using photos randomly from the web and later having issues with copyright problems, we can use photos that have Creative Commons Commercial license and still find great photos for presentation, blogs, and websites or for brochure.

We can get legal photos from many sites but they are not quiet obvious. To get legal photos free, try Flickr.com. In order to separate legal photos from private photos click the following:

1. Go to Flickr advanced search here (http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/).

2. Click the box that says “Only search within Creative Commons-licensed photos search link

3. You will get 100s of photos and copy and paste it, some of them have codes to embed on sites directly or you can save them in computer and import it.

The quality is excellent and the photos look very professional thanks to great photographers in Flickr. After it lists the photos for you to browse, click any of the following: “Most relevant” “Most recent” or “Most interesting”, you will find even more choices to choose from.

Seth Godin suggested this site and said these photos can be used for presentation also and will give you some great ideas for your next meeting.

If you still want more high quality pictures, do the same steps as above and type “hdr” in the search term; you will find great quality photos.

Also you can find drawings, arts, CGI etc.

There is another place where you can get more than million photos for free legally from Everystockphoto.com.

I would suggest people go here:

http://www.sxc.hu/index.phtml

If people use my Flickr pictures I would like to be asked first, regardless of the CC licence.

Thanks for the link. Maybe you can make the photos private if you don't want to share them.
