The Pod Review

There is a new blog dedicated to finding the best podcast for x, y and z. The PodReview is not just another podcast directory, in fact it is not a directory at all. The purpose of this blog is to compare similar podcasts and find one to call the best.

How does it work? Let's say you like photography. If you were to do a Google search for "photography podcast" you would be served nearly 2 million results! Limit yourself to searching the iTunes store and you still find at least thirty options. Sure, you can go through them one by one- read the descriptions, read the reviews, check their star rating, then pick a few to try- but that takes forever and you still don't know what you're getting.

The PodReview aims to help you find podcasts that truly suit your interests by listing similar podasts and providing a brief description of each so you can compare them right there in one blog post. Then the blogger goes a step further by recommending one as the best.

This blog is fairly new so for the time being the number of podcasts reviewed is limited. But the blogger invites all readers to go ahead and contribute their own PodReviews via email, so hopefully there will be a wide range of subjects covered in short order.
