I can't tell you how many times a day I get emails from people asking me where I get my images for my vinyl  decals. So I thought I would share how I get my images.

There are many places on the web where you can find commercial free copy right free images. You just need to do a web search for commercial free vector images. I create most of my vectors in a progam called Adobe Illustrator. You then save your image as an eps file or AI file, then import it into your cutter software. Easy peasy. I also buy CDs from around the web that have vinyl ready clipart already on it. these are great!!! Already made images for your software are such time savers! and they have so many popular images already on them.

Here are a few examples of what is out there.

You are AWESOME! I just came across this! I have been looking EVERYWHERE for information on what kind of software to buy for fun fonts and clip art! Was so excited when I saw this post from you. I just recently purchased a cutter so I can make wall decals at a gift store I own locally. I am still learning everything...but wanted to find pretty flowers, and the fun details (like squigly lines under quotes, etc). Going to check out the things you suggested.

Thanks again!
