Beanie Babies are a growing source of income since they first became a huge craze with McDondald's including them in happy meals, but what do you do if you want to get rid of them? As a collector myself I have searched and searched for many of the rare and uncommon TY Beanie Babies simply because of their uniqueness. The first step to getting rid of your unwanted Beanie Babies is to find out what they are worth, sometimes you may find you have a retired or rare one and in this case you wouldn't want to let it go for a low price or even free. You can use Ebay and the TY Beanie Baby website as sources to find out what yours are worth exactly. You can also find books that are totally desgiend to tell you what Beanie Babies are worth both retired and more.
Once you have fond what they are worth you can then decide on how you want to get rid of them, you have many options. You can use websites such as Ebay or Amazon that allow you to list them as an auction, this is a popular way for those TY Beanie Babies that are rare because you can see exaclty how rare they are when the auction price goes up dramatically within a short period of time. If you don't want to have to ship them to a person you can use websites such as Craigslist or other listing websites and specify that you are wanting to sell your Beanie Babies. You can also list them in a local newspaper, this often saves you from shipping them and you don't have to go far and sometimes people will even come to you for them.
