Lets get started

These days buying at tv can be tough with all the lcds, hd this, plasma that. No wonder no one can get it straight. Well don't fear!!! Let me help you choose the best TV for your home. Now where do we start. How about first we start with what a LCD is. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Diode. It is being used everywhere. Just take a look around your house right now. If you have a digital anything, chances are that you have seen an LCD. The crystal twists and untwists depending on the voltage that runs through it.

Advantages of LCD's

LCDs are nice for many reasons. You won't have to strain your eyes to see it since they don't flicker like the old CRT TVs. LCDs have a viewing angle of 160 degrees.A big issue affecting the overall quality of the picture reproduced on LCDs has to do with dot pitch. This term refers to the distance between sub pixels of the same color in adjoining pixel triads. The more dots that are within the same vicinity, the sharper the resolution. It also has an amazing color saturation of 16.8 million colors. The life of a LCD TV is extremely long. If you were to watch a LCD display for 24hrs a day it would take more then 7 years to wear it out.

The Touch of Color (TOC) is how you can customize the TV to fit your personality. The outer edges of this TV displays a faint red glow.
