Which gaming system is better: Xbox 360, Playstation3, or the Wii?

Which is the best system to get between the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii? That is a very good question. It is really in the eye of the beholder to really pick out which one is the best. I have yet to play on the PlayStation 3 so I cannot comment on that and have yet to use the Wii as well. Does that mean either of them are horrible? Not at all because all it seems to be will be a debate with no true answer.

It is one of those questions that if you ask a person about the three systems, you will hear three different answers. For this purpose, I'm going to analyze each other in a fair and unbiased way. It will involve the selling points of each point and some of the key points. I'm going to start with the PlayStation 3, Wii, and then finally the Xbox 360. While I can't give you a direct answer on which is the best, I will however make it to where you can find out what it is for yourself on that.

PlayStation 3: The main selling point is the Blu-Ray player without question. I feel that it was Sony's trump card and was a new technology used for the system itself. Coming along with it would be the PlayStation Network, which is free to have and has PS1 and some PS2 games. The main exclusive titles have to be Resistance and Metal Gear Solid. It did come out at $600 but I believe its price has dropped over time due to sales not doing so well. Graphic wise, it is reaching a level where it can never be surpassed and that's going to be easier said than done.

Wii: Nintendo has once again shown they are not about graphics but more about the game on the inside. The biggest selling point for this would be the motion sensor and of course the Virtual Console. The biggest strength it has will be the exclusives and that is a key component. The most established franchises that are available would be Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros., and others along the way. Biggest note for this would be that it is compatible with every single GameCube game giving it a bigger library than it all ready has.

Xbox 360: Successor to the Xbox, the 360 came out the earliest of all the consoles. With this system, you see that there is the Xbox Live Arcade with some Arcade ones that you may remember playing years ago. The 360 also has perhaps its biggest franchise and moneymaker to date with Halo. In my own opinion, this is the system that is designed for the gamer that is into First Person Shooter Style and there is nothing wrong with that. It works for them.

In the end however, you must look at each system and decide for yourself. It is impossible for me to say if the PS3 or the Wii would be great systems having never played them at this moment in time. They all have their strong and weak points but ultimately it is up to you to decide which is better. I hope this answers the question and also at the same time gives at least a little bit of insight on the systems themselves.

Thanks for responding to the request! You did a great job covering the three systems. I have only used the Wii myself, and I loved it!
