According to a research academic who was on The Science Programme recently on Australia's ABC Radio National stated that Blueberries are very good for your Brain. Apparently their is a certain enzyme not found in other foods which has been found to stave off Alzheimer's disease. Wherever the scientist now travels in the world to give lectures seminars etc he seeks out Blueberries. Noe as a matter of course I have them once a week. Besides I like them any way. To me they certainly taste very good. And I feel quite good after eating them. Let me know what you think after eating them !

Gee I need a bucket of that then, Different berries are good for a variety of ailments or so I have been led to believe.
I also notice when I drink carrot juice I get an almost instant hit of something which aids my concentration and energy for some time..
Hmm, I didn't know this!
Just prior to taking a final exam in college, a friend handed me a slim slice of red apple. It is filled with electrolytes, and I swear the only reason I passed that exam (biology ~yuck) was due to the apple! If the professor had taught us the biological effects of vegetables and fruits, perhaps I wouldn't have NEEDED the apple slice in order to graduate! lol. Now that I am out of school, I still remember to eat a piece of apple whenever I have any sort of job training, etc. :~) Hey, it couldn't hurt!!
Interesting hub:-)
