I prepared for this hub in2 month before but still it is unpublished so am going to publish it now .The Austrian film ‘White Ribbon’ won the award for the best film ‘GOLDEN PALM’ in KAN Film Festival. “The White Ribbon” (”Das Weisse Band“) directed and written by Michael Haneke .It is a thrilling story of a German village which is to face the First World-War .His previous credits include 'The Piano Teacher', 'Code Unknown' and 'Hidden'.

. Mr. Brilliant Mendos a Philippine won the award for the best actor. ‘Kinate’ which was specialized in kidnapping, raping, murdering was the key factor of the movie. Luya won the prize for the best story writer, based on a family with different mind, named it as ‘Spring Fever’.

Mr. Christopher Waltz an Australian was elected as the best actor. He won it for his act as Nazi Kernel Hans Landa in Inglorious Stupid of Mr. Kenton taralon’s movie. Miss. Sharlet Galesburg who was selected as the best actress for her acting in the movie ‘Antichrist’ where she appeared as a mother who lost her child.

The movie stars Susanne Lothar, Ulrich Tukur, Theo Trebs, Michael Schenk, Leonie Benesch, Josef Bierbichler, Rainer Bock, Christian Friedel, Burghart Klaussner, Steffi Kuhnert and Ursina Lardi

The second prize was given to ‘A Prophet’ a French film. White Ribbon and A Prophet had won after overcoming White Star of Jain Campion, Bhocan empress of Predo Almodovin, Inglorious Stupid of Quenton Taraneno.
