Good day to you the reader, as always, I hope this finds you in good health and cheer. I am posing a question today that requires a bit of explanation before you vote. Prettiness, and beauty are often confused; with beauty being regarded as a more favorable attribute of a woman’s appearance over prettiness. Oh contraire! I am here to tell you gals in this “Men are from Mars” moment that that is just not the case.

My late wife Zena, My Warrior Princess, often had to have these sorts of conversations to sort out some of the Mars -Venus phraseology errors. She, by the way was to me the prettiest girl in the whole wide world. The only vote that counted was mine and she was (and for that matter still is) the clear title holder for me.

But since my return from Iraq, working out of my home office, I have spent a fair bit of time watching TV during the day; and I began to wonder if folks could see the “prettiness” I think I see projected by these three television anchors. Now I have to say here that I have a personal favorite but I’m not going to influence any ones vote so Mum’s the word. But before I go on to lay out the choices, let me define Pretty.

A petty girl fosters through her carriage, appearance, voice and eyes an essence that tells a man that the pleasure of this womans company would be fun, interesting, and comfortable. As an example, not only would you want to wake up next to this person everyday, but you’d slip out of bed early to make her breakfast so you could sit at the kitchen table and talk about what she thinks.

Criteria for Female Voters A pretty girl has a smile and a twinkle in her eye that makes you comfortable, makes you feel like you have a new best friend. In fact, makes everyone comfortable; that every moment spent with her would add to the good things in life. I could go on and on but I think that criteria is probably sufficient for a vote. Except to say, that the question here is not who is the most beautiful, not who is the most attractive, but who projects through her on air presence the attributes of being “The Prettiest”
